Teflon sheets are the best way to protect not only your heat press but also the shirt you are pressing. You cannot under estimate the value of the teflon sheet if you have cold spots in your heat press a teflon sheet will help distribute the heat evenly. Our teflon sheets are not overseas knock offs but the real thing and are 3 mil thick. At Heat Press Vinyl we recommend that you use one to protect your bottom platen and one for the top.

To clean your teflon sheet to do this we recommend that you use regular rubbing alcohol
with a clean rag in a well ventilated area and keep away from flames.
Warning when cleaning your teflon sheet please take the proper precautions always clean in well ventilated area and away from high heat and flames. We do not want any body hurt. If your are not comfortable doing this cleaning please use common sense and just don't do it.
